Setup OpenAI API Key

Our AI system that powers the AI players in Mana Land requires GPT models to function, thus an OpenAI API Key is required to run the game. Follow these quick steps to set it up.

1) Signup or login at https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

2) Create a new API Key

3) Copy the secret key and store it somewhere safe (you'll not be able to see it again on OpenAI portal)

4) In Mana Land main menu, go to Settings. Paste the secret key and click update.

3) Finally add a payment method and load some credits. This is important as free tier OpenAI user will be rate limited and unable to run the game.

Roughly $0.1  per day for moderate use and the cost will continue to go down in the future.

What if I lost my Open AI secret key?

Delete the old key and follow the above instruction to create a new one.
